Job Description
We are seeking a precision-driven Banquet Chef to take ownership of our event culinary operations in Santa Cruz.
Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will lead kitchen execution, menu innovation, and culinary team management for events ranging from intimate multi-course dinners to large-scale productions of 300+ guests. This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who balances culinary artistry with tight operational controls.

What You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary leadership (Banquet Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Sous Chef) in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end catering facility.
- Proven success running multi-event operations and plated functions for up to 300+ guests simultaneously.
- Demonstrated proficiency in food cost controls, labor scheduling, yield management, and inventory platforms.
- Clear and direct communication skills, paired with a history of mentoring diverse kitchen teams.
