Kitchen Manager

Location : North Syracuse, NY
Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 per year

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations at a Vietnamese restaurant. This is a management-focused role. The Kitchen Manager will lead the back-of-house team and manage kitchen operations without cooking on the line.

Responsibilities
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and staff performance.
• Manage scheduling, training, and staffing coverage.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and preparation standards.
• Handle inventory, ordering, receiving, and vendor deliveries.
• Monitor food costs, labor costs, and waste.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
• Work with restaurant management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager, BOH Manager, Sous Chef, or similar role.
• Experience managing kitchen staff, scheduling, inventory, and food costs.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a fast paced kitchen and hold staff accountable.
• Vietnamese or Asian restaurant experience is a plus.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
