Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Server to join our team. The Server will be responsible for providing excellent dining experiences by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make food and beverage recommendations.
- Accurately take customer orders and communicate them to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns in a timely manner.
- Process payments and handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server, Waiter, or Waitress preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant operations.
- Ability to upsell menu items and specials.
- Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
- POS system experience is a plus.
