Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and notify management of shortages.
- Properly store food items and ingredients.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Minimize food waste and maintain cost control practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
