Are you a culinary visionary with strong leadership skills? McKnight Place Extended Care, a luxury senior living community at 170 & Delmar, is seeking an Executive Chef/Food Service Director to lead our dining team and provide exceptional dining experiences.
Position Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with:
Formal training or extensive culinary experience.
A minimum of 2 years as an Executive Chef or Food Service Director is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Proven ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
Reliable transportation is required
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Dining Room Managers, Servers, Cooks, and Dishwashers.
Recruit, train, and mentor the food service team.
Develop creative, nutritious menus in collaboration with a Registered Dietitian.
Maintain open communication with residents, families, and team members.
Provide staff education to enhance service quality.
Actively participate in care plan and management team meetings.
