Well-known casual dining establishment in Massapequa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to run the daily activities of both the front / back of the house.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in a restaurant management position
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines either independently or as part of a team
- Ability to provide support in any area as required, i.e., back end, expediting, front end, etc.
Responsibilities include:
- Hires, fires, trains and evaluates employees for front end / back end staff
- Oversight of all daily activities; knowledge of day to day operations
- Food procurement / food vendor relationships
- Develops and implements food budgets
- Motivates employees through incentives and positive feedback
- Establish superior performance standards for the employee population
- Ensures that the company is on track to meet its sales goals
This is a full-time position and requires 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends. 2 days off per week guaranteed.
Salary commensurate with experience.
