We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Manager/Cook for our new Italian restaurant located in Downtown Lowell. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Italian cooking along with solid kitchen management experience to help us deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations ensuring quality and efficiency
- Prepare and oversee Italian cuisine with attention to authenticity and presentation
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Manage inventory to control costs and prevent shortages
- Create staff schedules and manage kitchen labor
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of kitchen management experience
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Experience with kitchen operations and food safety protocols
- Skilled in inventory management
- Proven leadership in team management and staff training
- Ability to handle scheduling and development of kitchen personnel
