Family-owned Sports Grill looking for a motivated, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team at our busy restaurant. Our ideal candidate will be expected to lead by example, work on the line, have a passion for delicious food, and help create a positive, fast-paced kitchen environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and supervise the kitchen team with professionalism and respect
Lead the Implementation and management of online ordering and third-party delivery platforms BONUS with success
Work the line during while maintaining quality and speed
Monitor food quality, portion control and ticket times
Ensure all food is prepared consistently according to recipes and presentation standards
Train, coach and develop kitchen staff
Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen that meets health department standards
Communicate clearly with front of house to ensure excellent guest experience
Monitor food and inventory levels, minimize waste and communicate needs promptly
Ensure food safety procedures and kitchen policies are followed at all times
Guide and support kitchen staff to run efficiently under pressure
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Previous kitchen management/supervisory or lead line cook experience
Must demonstrate ability to manage our extensive menu
Must be responsible, dependable and team-oriented
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to lead and stay composed
Strong communication skills
Valid ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification
