Atwater Brewery, home of the Dirty Blonde, is looking for a front-of-house bar manager who is responsible for the overall direction of the bar. This includes managing bar staff employees and overseeing daily operations including staffing, ordering, tip pay-outs, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee FOH operations on a day-to-day basis
- Recruitment and development of team members
- Engage with our guests and ensure their satisfaction
- Oversight of cleanliness of entire restaurant inside and out
- Prepare end of day and opening reports and cash management
- Optimizing profits by controlling labor & beverage costs
Experience and Requirements:
- 5+ years of restaurant/bar experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Developed leadership and communication
- Passion for craft beer
- Ability to be flexible and encourage team members during stressful environments
- Must have the ability to accurately handle money, make the change, process credit card transactions, and have strong menu knowledge
- Proven track record in successfully training and developing people
