We are a high-volume Sushi & Hibachi restaurant committed to delivering exceptional food, interactive dining experiences, and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a skilled, energetic, and personable Hibachi Chef who takes pride in both culinary excellence and entertaining guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook hibachi meals with precision, consistency, and attention to food quality.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to restaurant recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain adequate inventory for each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary hibachi station.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Assist with prep work and additional kitchen duties as needed.
• Properly clean and maintain hibachi grills, cooking utensils, and equipment.
• Provide excellent guest interaction and respond courteously to customer requests or dietary accommodations when possible.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Hibachi or Teppanyaki Chef is preferred.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Ability to safely operate hibachi grills and cooking equipment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and time management skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
