An established and well-respected restaurant group in the Birmingham area is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the next evolution of its culinary program. This opportunity is ideal for a chef who enjoys blending creativity with operational excellence and wants the opportunity to make a lasting impact on an established brand, or a Sous Chef looking to take an exciting next step in their career!
Executive Chef's will be working a full-time position, with pay anticipated to be between $100,000-$120,000 plus opportunity for excellent bonuses. Starting pay will be based on each candidate's experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Qualified Executive Chefs will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
5+ years of Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Chef de Cuisine experience leading high-volume restaurant operations.
Proven success developing menus, seasonal features, and chef-driven specials with a passion for modernizing and elevating dining concepts.
Experience managing kitchen financials, including food cost, labor budgets, purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
Strong leadership experience coaching and developing culinary teams, including Sous Chefs and back-of-house staff.
Culinary degree (preferred) and current ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain) required.
