Salary: $60,000-$80,000 per year (DOE) + Performance Bonus

This is not just a management position-we are looking for someone who leads by example, is willing to work alongside the team, and takes pride in running an organized, efficient kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily back-of-house operations
- Ensure all food prep is completed accurately and on time
- Create and manage daily prep lists
- Schedule kitchen staff and manage labor efficiently
- Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen employees
- Maintain recipe consistency and food quality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Control food costs and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with all health department and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Work all kitchen stations when needed and lead during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and ownership
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (Required)
- 3+ years of restaurant kitchen management experience
- Experience working in a Mexican restaurant, taqueria, or authentic Mexican kitchen (Required)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Experience with employee scheduling and labor management
- Knowledge of inventory control and food cost management
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
