Under the direct supervision of the Chef/Patient Foodservice Manager, prepares, seasons and cooks food for the hospital patients, employees and visitors. Ability to work with a wide variety of people. Must have very good interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write and follow oral written instruction. Must have the ability to move quickly from one task to another as needs of the department change. Must be well organized and able to multitask. Submission requirement: 2-4 yrs. full-time cooking experience required 2+ years kitchen supervisory experience High school diploma required Graduate of a formal technical school specializing in hotel or institutional cooking STRONGLY PREFERRED Medical terminology course completion preferred Traveler must have their own vehicle Profile Requirements: Work History Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
