Host Position
The Host greets guests upon arrival, manages the waitlist and seating assignments, and assists with reservations. This position ensures a welcoming first impression and coordinates communication between the front-of-house team and guests.
Responsibilities:- Welcome guests and record names on the waitlist as necessary
- Manage seating assignments and escort guests to their tables
- Communicate guest needs or special requests to servers and managers
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide accurate wait times
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and front entry
- Monitor dining room activity and update seating chart regularly
- Assist with menu explanations and promotional information
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service at all times
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle reservations and manage seating chart
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
