Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. This position requires availability on Sundays, as well as nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations
- Lead and support kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes
- Assist with menu execution, banquets, and catering preparation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
- Experience with Italian cuisine preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and mandatory Sundays
