Country Club Member Dining Room Chef - Detroit Suburbs
The Restaurant Chef will lead all culinary operations for the club's à la carte restaurant, delivering a consistently exceptional dining experience for members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, food quality, presentation, and service execution.
- Develop creative, seasonal menus and specials that reflect member preferences and current culinary trends.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead the culinary team.
- Manage food and labor costs, inventory, purchasing, and departmental P&L.
- Maintain high standards for sanitation, safety, organization, and consistency.
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership and front-of-house teams to enhance the overall member experience.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and creative kitchen culture.
Qualifications
- Proven culinary leadership experience in an upscale restaurant, private club, hotel, or similar environment.
- Strong à la carte, menu development, staff leadership, and financial management skills.
- Creative, organized, and passionate about hospitality and member service.
