Duties

Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving areas.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
Assist in food preparation as needed during peak hours to support kitchen operations.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems such as OpenTable is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
A team-oriented mindset with the willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
