Schedule creation and management Train and invest in kitchen team's learning and growth Manage ordering, inventory, scheduling, timecards, etc. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen stations Maintain state and federal food safety standards Weekly meal planning and management for staff lunch Lead team in preparation of daily staff lunches for all Glacier Raft Company Departments Facilitate kitchen team in preparing and packing food and hard gear for full day rafting trips Facilitate kitchen team in preparing and packing box lunches for full day fishing trips Facilitate kitchen team in preparing, packing, and serving Riverside Dinners to guests Monitor upcoming trip schedule to ensure food is prepped and ready Coordinate with Operations Management and Team Leaders in menu planning and packing for all overnight rafting trips Help Assistant Manager in packing and preparing all food and kitchen-related hard gear for overnight trips Act as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the raft trip leaders and their supervisors. Assist as needed with food support for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquets Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties and work a flexible schedule What skills and experience do you need for this job? ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all aspects of operations at a historic lodge or hotel Ensure safety and protection of property, guests, and team members Communicate frequently with VP and other central service areas Oversee all aspects of staff accommodation: vacancies, roster, cleaning, etc Lead weekly manager meetings Ensure managers have all necessary items to operate effectively & efficiently Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and ensures they are dealt with Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years previous hotel GM experience required Hotel/Restaurant degree or equivalent experience required Experience in seasonal hotel operations or concessions preferred Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills required Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards Be organized with a great eye for detail Be kind to others and always bring your best Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions About Us: We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
