Round Barn Public House Grill Cook We are currently seeking a line cook to join our busy Round Barn Public House team. They will prepare and cook food at specific stations like grill, sauté, or our pizza station, following recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include setting up stations, cleaning, managing ingredients, and working quickly to serve food on time. Main Duties Station Setup: Restocking supplies, chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces before service. Cooking and Serving: Making menu items using methods like grilling, frying, and sautéing, following recipes and presentation rules. Cleaning and Safety: Cleaning work areas, utensils, and equipment; following food safety and hygiene rules. Teamwork: Communicating with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing and helping during busy times. Managing Ingredients: Checking ingredient levels, reporting shortages, and storing food properly. Skills and Requirements Experience: Previous work in busy restaurants. Technical Skills: Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and knife skills. Physical Ability: Standing for long periods, working in hot conditions, and lifting heavy items. Soft Skills: Good time management, multitasking, and working under pressure. This position will report to sous chef, head chef or Kitchen Manager. Compensation details: 14-19 Hourly Wage PI98eda-9115
