What You'll Do: Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant Prepare dishwashing machine for operation Wash all pots, pans, utensils and dishes utilized during shift Ensure all dishes, glassware, silverware and equipment are returned to designated areas after cleaning Keep records of all wash water temperatures, all notable food waste and broken dishes Clean dishwashing machine at end of shift Responsible for disposing of all garbage from kitchen and dish room in proper containers outside throughout shift Mop dish room and kitchen floors throughout shift as needed Keep dish room clean and orderly Assist with other kitchen duties as needed and follow monthly kitchen cleaning schedule Assist cooks and dining staff in preparation and delivery of room service trays Assist cooks and dining staff with food preparation as needed May assist in preparing food carts for delivery What We're Looking For: Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant Good interpersonal skills Previous dishwashing experience in restaurant or senior living community preferred Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests and other team members Must meet all health-related and/or food-handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's credentials What We Offer: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Full-Time) Retirement Plan Contribution Match Vacation and Sick Time Paid Holidays Team Member Meals And more! Cook Quail Park of Lynnwood Quail Park of Lynnwood currently has an opening for a cook on our Signature Dining Team. Our team manages the entire dining experience of our seniors ensuring that meals are presented in a clean and attractive manner and that residents, both new and old, feel welcome. We depend on our cooks to make sure that all food is delicious and safe, keeping the kitchen neat and sanitary, and that our food is within prescribed health standards. As a member of our dining team, you'll play a key role in doing everything necessary for a tasty and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. What You'll Do: Cook Follow recipes and proper procedures to cook and prep all food to Signature Dining Standards while maintaining freshness and appropriate temperatures Responsible for proper food storage including covering, labeling, dating and placing in proper food storage areas Always ensure safe food handling techniques Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment before and after each use Ensure all kitchen surfaces including floors, counters, sinks, cabinets, and walk in freezer and fridge remain clean and sanitary during shift Complete deep cleaning procedures according to schedule or as directed What We're Looking For: Sous Chef Cook Minimum of 1-year applicable food service experience Previous experience in either hotel/restaurant or senior living preferred Demonstrated understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Strong commitment to customer service and desire to exceed customer expectations Must be ablet to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, guests, staff, and vendors Must meet all health-related and/or food-handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handler's credentials What We Offer: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Full-Time) Retirement Plan Contribution Match Vacation and Sick Time Paid Holidays Team Member Meals And more!
