Executive Sous Chef - Catering Division Urick Concessions & Catering is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead and manage our growing Catering Division. This role requires an organized self-starter with the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards. As the Executive Sous Chef, your primary responsibility will be BOH catering operations- planning, coordinating and executing multiple events simultaneously. You will assist with developing new catering menus and concessions event menus. Our events vary from corporate meetings, sporting events, consumer shows, weddings, banquets, you name it! Every week is different! Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Catering Team on planning, preparation, and execution of all catering events. Develop creative and customized menus tailored to client needs while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. Oversee all aspects of food production for catering, ensuring consistency, presentation, and timely delivery. Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company standards. Monitor food costs, labor efficiency, and profitability for the catering division. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Qualifications Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role with a focus on catering or banquet operations. Culinary degree or equivalent preferred but not required if accompanied by extensive experience. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in an independent work environment. Strong leadership abilities with experience training and managing kitchen teams. Excellent communication skills. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and operational best practices. Why Join Us?
