Position: Commissary - Porter/Dishwasher (Night Shift: 10 PM - 6 AM) Cleanliness and sanitation are critical in any food establishment and Joseph's is no different. Our Porters and Dishwashers ensure the back of house is clean and sanitary during night shift hours. Routine Tasks: Properly cleans dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc., during night shift hours. Removes trash from warehouse and kitchens Communicates with Direct Supervisor and Department Managers if there's a need for their assistance within a department Operates steam cleaning machine, dishwasher, pallet jack, uses knives, and other Cleaning/Warehouse equipment Assists with other tasks as assigned Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Availability to work overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) Ability to interpret and follow instructions Ability to work well with others A passion for serving people A Porter/Dishwasher performs their tasks in multiple locations, from the dishwashing area to the warehouse. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds. Work also includes frequent interaction with fellow employees. Our Kitchen Prep Cooks play an important role in ensuring the quality of food and the way it's displayed is up to the company's standards. Routine Tasks: Maintains Joseph's standards for product freshness and sanitation Preparing and executing Joseph's recipes for various proteins, vegetables, starches, etc. Replenishes, maintains, and rotates products and display cases Packages and labels products Operates knives, ovens, stoves, grills, scales, wrapping machine and other Kitchen equipment Assists with other tasks as assigned Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems Ability to interpret and follow instructions Ability to work well with others Food preparation experience A passion for serving people A Kitchen Prep Cook/Associate performs their tasks primarily in the Kitchen department. Work involves walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting products weighing up to 80 pounds. Work may be done inside a preparation room and a refrigerated cooler, you will be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments.
