Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable temporary production cook to join our team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen organization, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to established menus and safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and supervisor instructions.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas, following all safety protocols.
Assist with additional kitchen duties, including dishwashing, inventory management, and preparation of ingredients, as directed by supervisors or team members.
Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled to support kitchen operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of related experience and/or training in a food service or kitchen environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical Demands
Work environment is an industrial kitchen where temperature, humidity, and heat levels may fluctuate.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
Approximate starting hourly rate: $14.00 - $15.00. The wage offered could be above or below range based on education and experience as it relates to the job description.
