Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house employees.
- Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage and adherence to labor budgets.
- Plan, assign, and prioritize work based on the restaurant's needs.
- Interview, hire, and train new staff members.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Enforce company safety rules and policies.
- Evaluate and review employee performance.
- Implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Approve time records and manage overtime.
- Re-train employees and orient new hires on company policies.
- Coach and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints.
- Drive sales and manage labor and food costs.
- Attend manager meetings and training sessions.
- Work during weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant.
- Completion of an internal management training program or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
