Job Preview
The dishwasher holds the responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for a restaurant. The dishwasher must keep the dish room and dish machine in clean, working order. Through on the job experience, dishwashers gain exposure to other aspects of operating a kitchen and learn job duties for other positions, such as dietary server and cook.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the dish station, and support HACCP policies and procedures in the service of Patients, Residents, and Guests.
• Set up carts with ice water and iced tea.
• Presoak for silverware.
• Tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, placemats.
• Stage trays for server on line with tray, napkin, pallet, menu card, silverware.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Remove trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to push / pull delivery carts
Working Conditions
Works in a kitchen environment with exposure to hot foods / utensils, water, and potentially slick conditions. Safety procedures will be followed to limit hazards.
Compensation details: 15 Hourly Wage
