Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take drink orders.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area for events and functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
