Prep Cook / Line Cook - The Coop by Hoopes (Yountville, CA)
Full-Time Weekends Required Must Be 21+
The Coop by Hoopes is a new outdoor patio café and farm stand located in downtown Yountville, just behind the Little League baseball diamond. We serve seasonal food and drinks inspired by our regenerative farm and Napa Valley roots. We're looking for a Prep Cook / Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations and bring our farm-fresh menu to life.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with roasting and grilling meats, cutting vegetables, and prepping soups
- Follow recipes to prepare sauces, condiments, and dressings
- Help with canning, pickling, and preserves as needed
- Run the line during service 1-2 days per week
- Support catering prep and daily kitchen organization
- Handle opening and closing tasks, including patio setup and cleanup
- Maintain food safety standards and a clean, efficient workspace
Who You Are:
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a small, hands-on team
- Passionate about fresh, seasonal food and simple, quality-driven cooking
- Comfortable in a mostly outdoor environment
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license
- Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Weekend availability is required
