Job Title: Dishwasher Reports To: Production Manager and Maintenance Manager Job Summary: The Dishwasher is an essential member of the production team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all food handling equipment, including kettles, containers, utensils, and glassware. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food safety standards and supporting the overall efficiency of kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: • Sanitation & Cleaning Duties o Cleans and sanitizes kettles, buckets, food-grade containers, utensils, and other kitchen equipment according to established procedures. o Performs specialized allergen cleaning to prevent cross-contamination, adhering strictly to protocols for sanitation and food safety. o Monitors sanitation chemicals and processes, ensuring correct concentrations are used and that accurate records are maintained in compliance with safety standards. o Returns all cleaned items to their designated storage locations, maintaining an orderly and functional work environment. • Communication & Coordination o Collaborates with cooks and production staff to prioritize cleaning needs, particularly related to kettle availability and changeovers. o Communicates proactively regarding any delays, equipment issues, or supply needs that may impact production flow.
