Dining Room Manager

The National Exemplar, established in 1983, is located in the historic Mariemont Inn in Mariemont, Ohio. The restaurant offers American-style cuisine in both its spacious dining room and relaxing outdoor patio, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Situated on the first floor of the hotel, it is a popular neighborhood restaurant renowned for an outstanding dining experience. Additionally, Southerby's Pub provides a cozy ambiance with oversized chairs and original 1920's fireplaces, perfect for intimate gatherings.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dining Room Manager based in Cincinnati, OH. The Dining Room Manager will oversee the dining room operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Responsibilities include managing food and beverage service, supervising staff, training new employees, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment. The role also involves coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

• Experience in Food & Beverage management and Food Service operations
• Expertise in staff Training and supervision
• Basic Cooking skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Previous management experience in a restaurant is a plus
