What You'll Do:
- Master the sauté station, ensuring dishes are cooked to perfection with proper techniques.
- Execute high-volume service efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients, preparing sauces, proteins, and composed dishes.
- Follow all recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards for a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station throughout service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, working in sync with expeditors and fellow cooks.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to uphold our commitment to excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working a sauté station in a full-service, chef-driven restaurant.
- Strong knife skills, cooking techniques, and ability to work cleanly and efficiently.
- Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced service while maintaining composure.
- A passion for food, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

- Proven experience as a sauté cook or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of sauté techniques and the ability to handle various ingredients effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including sauté pans, induction burners, and other tools.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots and pans.
Education and Training:
- Experience through on-the-job training and apprenticeships in professional kitchen required
- A formal culinary education or relevant culinary certificate preferred.
