Workweek

12 month Monday through Thursday: 9:30am - 2:30pm Fridays: 9:00am - 2:00pm

Position Summary

Responsible for keeping dishes washed and delivered to proper stations following all procedures and HACCP guidelines for food safety.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes and deliver them to the proper stationsKeep pots and pans washed, sanitized, and put away into proper storage areasUnpack daily deliveries and shelf in storerooms, refrigerators, or freezersClean kitchen equipment and storage areas as assignedComplete all cleaning assignments according to departmental procedures and regulatory agency requirementsMonitor and log temperature of dishwashing machinery to assure regulatory agency requirements are maintained at all timesPerform proper hand washing procedures at all times when moving from a soiled task to a clean taskKeep conveyor belt cleaned and sanitizedBus tables as requestedAssist with food preparation tasks when feasibleAttend staff meetings, training sessions, and seminars as requestedSpecific job responsibilities for this position are included in the Task Description found in the work areaWork collaboratively with others (e.g. colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilitiesAssume additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisorRequired Qualifications

Some High School EducationCurrent Illinois Food Sanitation Food Handler Certification or obtained within 6 months of hireCurrent COVID-19 and Food Allergen CertificationsObtain and maintain Allergen and COVID-19 Awareness Certifications
