Brookside Senior Living, a Cassia community, is looking for Cooks to join our culinary team! Showcase your culinary skills in a warm, welcoming environment where your work is truly appreciated. As a Cook at Brookside Senior Living, you'll prepare and serve meals for our residents, contribute to a positive dining experience, and be part of a supportive culinary team. Our ideal candidate will have 1 year of prior commercial cooking experience and the ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines.

Position Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available: 11:00 am to 6:00 pm (Including every other weekend and holidays):

Wage Range: $17 - $20 /hour depending on experience

Location: 804 Benson Rd, Montevideo, MN 56265

Cook Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests.
• Prepare and cook all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
• Observe and report on resident change of condition or changes in ability.
• Participate in meetings and required training to maintain regulatory standards of food service at the community.
• Inspect kitchen for conformance to government and company safety and sanitation requirements.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

• 1+ year of commercial cooking/food preparation experience required.
• Strong communication and hospitality skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Baking experience a plus!
