As a Line Cook, you'll assist in creating menu items and ensuring guests are presented with a meal they can't receive elsewhere. What You'll Do Ensure incredible service is provided by effectively handling a variety of tasks Preparing ingredients to be used by the culinary team as well as creating high quality meals Follow proper recipes, knife skills and cooking techniques to provide consistent ingredients and finished products Balance prep work while ensuring guests meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards Comply with applicable State Restaurant Health Codes and Regulations Requirements 1+ years' experience working as a line cook Comfortable working in fast-paced, open kitchen environment Experience working in a fine dining or upscale establishment Strong attention to detail Proficient knife skills At Wegmans, we've always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
