Job Title: Starbucks Shift Supervisor (Licensed Store) Role Summary The Shift Supervisor is the operational heartbeat of our store. You will lead shifts, deploy baristas to meet customer demand, and ensure every beverage meets Starbucks' gold standard. Beyond making great coffee, you are responsible for maintaining a positive team environment, managing inventory, and driving sales through excellent service and operational consistency. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Direct the team during busy shifts, providing real-time coaching and ensuring all baristas are deployed effectively. Operational Excellence: Maintain store appearance, health and safety standards, and equipment cleanliness according to both Starbucks and licensee protocols. Customer Experience: Model a "Customer First" attitude, resolving issues quickly and ensuring the "Third Place" environment is upheld. Financial & Inventory Management: Assist the Store Manager with inventory counts, ordering, and cash management procedures (deposits, till audits, etc.). Training & Development: Support the onboarding of new baristas and ensure the team is up-to-date on seasonal beverage launches and promotions. Qualifications Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume retail or food service environment (prior Starbucks experience is a significant plus). Certifications: ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (preferred or required within 30 days). Skills: Strong communication, the ability to multi-task under pressure, and a passion for coaching others. Availability: Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
