Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary The Bartender crafts high-quality beverages while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, engaging, and professional service. This role is responsible for delivering gracious hospitality rooted in a welcoming spirit, ensuring each guest feels valued while maintaining efficiency and accuracy behind the bar. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide attentive, friendly, and engaging service to guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times. Ensure accuracy and consistency in drink preparation and presentation. Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines. Handle cash, credit, and room charge transactions accurately. Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory control as needed. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Stay knowledgeable about current drink menus, cocktail trends, and promotions. Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Guest satisfaction and feedback Beverage quality, accuracy, and speed of service Sales performance per shift Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds. Frequent reaching, bending, and repetitive motions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Qualifications & Skills Previous bartending experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine. Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team-oriented with a positive attitude. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol. Any required alcohol service certifications must be obtained and maintained. Work Environment On-site in a bar at the hotel restaurant.
