The Bartender crafts high-quality beverages while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, engaging, and professional service. This role is responsible for delivering gracious hospitality rooted in a welcoming spirit, ensuring each guest feels valued while maintaining efficiency and accuracy behind the bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and engaging service to guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
  • Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Handle cash, credit, and room charge transactions accurately.
  • Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory control as needed.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Stay knowledgeable about current drink menus, cocktail trends, and promotions.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous bartending experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol.
  • Any required alcohol service certifications must be obtained and maintained.
Work Environment
  • On-site in a bar at the hotel restaurant.
