The Bartender crafts high-quality beverages while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, engaging, and professional service. This role is responsible for delivering gracious hospitality rooted in a welcoming spirit, ensuring each guest feels valued while maintaining efficiency and accuracy behind the bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide attentive, friendly, and engaging service to guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area at all times.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in drink preparation and presentation.
- Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Handle cash, credit, and room charge transactions accurately.
- Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory control as needed.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Stay knowledgeable about current drink menus, cocktail trends, and promotions.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol.
- Any required alcohol service certifications must be obtained and maintained.
Work Environment
- On-site in a bar at the hotel restaurant.
