Job Description:
Sunset Island Bar & Grille in Ocean City, MD is looking for an experienced high-volume Bartender to join our team at our busy outdoor tiki bar. This is a fast-paced environment where speed, organization, and personality matter. You must be able to handle high-volume service while maintaining a positive attitude and great guest interaction. This is a high-volume bar - this is not a craft cocktail position.
Our location features a private beach, large pool area, outdoor patio, and waterfront views. This is a great summer job for an experienced bartender who wants to work hard and make great money in a fun environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately
- Handle high-volume service in a fast-paced environment
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized bar
- Stock and restock bar throughout shift
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Follow all alcohol service laws and safety guidelines
- Work as a team with servers, barbacks, and managers
Requirements:
- Bartending experience required
- High-volume bartending experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized under pressure
- Outgoing personality and strong guest interaction skills
- Ability to work outdoors in summer conditions
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required
