The Restaurant General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a small restaurant team, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient staff management, and smooth operational functions. This role is accountable for managing the operational budget, maintaining compliance with regulations, coordinating marketing efforts, and sustaining vendor relationships. The manager employs various software tools including POS, inventory management, staff scheduling, and accounting software to support business activities, working through peak hours in an all-day operational environment.
As the owner, I am looking for a strong leader who can cultivate an amazing FOH and BOH Team, who holds people accountable and sets high exceptions with the goal of providing an amazing guest
experience. I need someone with strong financial skills who knows how to hit target labor and food COGS. In addition to a salary, the GM will be eligible quarterly bonuses tied to hitting those targets.
This is a very hands-on position, so the right person needs to be willing to jump in when and where needed.
