Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSous Chef - Conference Center & Executive Dining Arlington, VA (Rosslyn) 75,000 - $80,000 Full Benefits We are seeking a strong Sous Chef to support culinary operations within a high-end conference center and executive dining environment. This is a $3M operation with a focus on catering, conference events, and upscale café service. This is not a restaurant-only role - experience in banquets, catering, or conference dining is required. What You'll Do Execute high-volume catering and conference events Support executive and VIP dining programs Assist with menu development and seasonal updates Manage daily production, prep, and service execution Support food cost, inventory, and ordering Train and lead line-level culinary staff Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation What We're Looking For Sous Chef or strong Jr Sous experience Background in: Hotels (banquet/catering) Conference centers Contract dining (Compass, Aramark, Sodexo, etc.) Experience executing multiple events and high-volume service Strong organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail Hands-on leadership and team development mindset Professional appearance and communication Why This Role Primarily Monday-Friday schedule (event-driven flexibility) High-end, professional work environment Stable, long-term account Growth opportunity within a structured organization
