Cashier

The primary duties and responsibilities of a Lead cashier involve interacting with customers, providing a positive experience and ensuring that the other service staff is prepared to do the same.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a positive work environment for all cashiers and staff

Taking and Producing customers' food (Specialty Coffee, Alcoholic and NON-Alcoholic Beverages) and drink orders

Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves

Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly

Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer in the service area

Operate POS and perform general checkout functions

Generate reliable and accurate reports from every POS system

Resolve cash tills when closing, ensuring the money matches the report and is stored safely

Sales reporting

Assist other employees with challenges

Maintain a clean working environment by adhering to all relevant sanitary regulations and standards

Qualifications

Previous POS and cash handling experience

TABC & Food handling certified (Must be willing to complete certifications within 2 weeks from hire date)

Standing or moving, for long periods of time

General knowledge of all safety & sanitation standards

Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere

Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency

Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
